LOCATIONS IN PROVO AND LEHI

WHERE CAN I PROPERLY DISPOSE OF MY PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION?

There are several types of formal collection options. Permanent community collection sites are located in law enforcement agencies statewide. A list for Utah County locations is provided below. Additional County locations can be found at utahvalleydpc.org/safe-opioid-disposal/. In addition, special take-back medication collection events are also held across the states, which are often referred to as "Clean Out Your Medicine Cabinet" or "Household Hazardous Waste Collection." Each of these events focuses on the proper disposal of prescription pain medications. Local law enforcement and prevention specialists are present at these events to help answer questions and concerns.

Please Note: If Spinal Interventions is currently prescribing your medication(s) and a prescription exchange is requested, you will be required to bring in your current medications you need replaced, so that we can properly dispose of them.
