SERVICES

Interventional Pain Management
Many chronic pain conditions can be treated with injection type therapies which often give substantial or even complete pain relief for months to years. These include chronic pain in the back and neck, as well as other body areas.

Generally, these interventions do not work well for whole body diffuse pain, not confined to a specific body regions. Non-narcotic, non-surgical solutions for your pain.

Listed below are some of the minimally invasive procedures commonly performed in our practice:

  • Epidural steroid injections (interlaminar, transcaudal, and transforaminal) throughout the spine
  • Facet diagnostic blocks (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)
  • Radiofrequency facet neuroablations
  • Transforaminal nerve root blocks
  • Trigger point injections
  • Peripheral nerve injections
  • Peripheral nerve ablations with cryotherapy and radiofrequency
  • Sympathetic blocks (stellate ganglion, celiac plexus, lumbar, hypogastric)
  • Pulsed radiofrequency dorsal root ganglion neurolysis
  • Spinal endoscopy/epiduroscopy
  • Implantable technologies (spinal cord stimulator, sacral nerve stimulator, intrathecal pumps)
  • Lumbar discography, vertebroplasty, percutaneous diskectomy, annuloplasty
  • Lumbar puncture and blood patches

Drug Detoxification
We provide medical detoxification services, including Suboxone, Naltrexone Implants, and Ultra Rapid Opioid Detoxification (UROD) or Anesthesia assisted Rapid Opiod Detoxification (AROD).

Prometa, made by Hythiam, is a new drug used to treat alcohol, methamphetamines, and cocaine dependency. The Prometa treatment is a new and specialized detoxification program. For more information, please see the Hythiam website. A link to the website can be found on our “Links” page.

Medication Consults
In order to provide patients and their primary care providers with a different option, we provide a consultative service for medications. The idea is to serve as a resource to the primary care physician and to educate patients on principles of opioid prescription use.
